Cyborg Attack: Stoerfucktor


Después de su álbum "Blutgeld", llega este nuevo álbum "Stoerfucktor" que cuenta conmás temas en alemán, frente a su anterior trabajo. Stoerfucktor continua con el carácter y la personalidad que Cyborg Attack tiene dentro de la escena industrial. Un grupo novedoso, puede dar lugar a opiniones muy distintas, puesto que combina beats y voces, más cercanas al Black Metal, junto con ritmos industriales contundentes. Este grupo, no es el típico grupo que utilice el decoder para distorsionar sus voces, si no que, utiliza toda la guturalidad natural de una voz, potente y atronadora.
Algunas canciones de este nuevo álbum, han perdido fuerza, prueba de ello son: Judgement Day y ENDZEIT. Más bien, se tratan de temas, a modo de cambio o romper con la monotonía musical.
Destacando por encima de todos, el tema Deamon, definiéndolo, como sonido 100% Cyborg Attack.

Die Sektor: To Be Fed Upon



Dos años despues de su primer demo "Scraping the Flesh", Die Sektor nos trae su debut "To Be Fed Upon" con el sello aleman Noitekk. A la venta desde el 4 de Julio, este disco mezcla vocales distorcionadas, ritmos agresivos y una estructura melodica poderosa. Die Sektor nacio en Diciembre del 2002 con el nombre de Serenity Division y mas adelante como Atrocita. Debido a que el nombre Atrocita tenia cierta simitud a Cenobita, la banda decidió cambiar su nombre a Die Sektor y editar su primer demo en Febrero del 2004.

Lost Signal: Catharsis


Hace 5 años el músico Charles Rehill se junto con Tom Shear de Assemblage 23 para que produjera el disco debut de su banda Lost Signal.

El resultado fue "Catharsis" editado en America por Inception y en Europa por Trisol Music/Matrix Cube. Cabe resaltar que luego vió la luz un segundo álbum "Eviscerate" que sigue justo en donde "Catharsis" se quedo, aunque mostrando un sonido mas elaborado y maduro mezclando percusiones de IDM con muchas melodias. Pero Catharsis fue el inicio de este sonido muy característico dentro del future pop.

093 - EXCLUSIVE!!! New Beyonce FULL Songs






Get Me Bodied : SwizzBeats production. Average.

Freakum Dress : This is the TYPICAL Rich Harrisson production. I hear both Toni's "Take This Ring" and Amerie's "One Thing", it's average at best. Rich needs to step up his production game.

Irreplaceable : Nice pop song. Written and produced by Stargate. It may be one of the most memorable tracks of the album. Good vocal arrangements. It's a HIT.

Kitty Kat : Produced by the Neptunes. Judging from some reviews I thought it would be addictive, it's average, but I've never been a big Neptunes fan.

Upgrade U : Certified HIT!!! Swizzbeats did a great job. Sounds like Jay and Beyonce are having fun, I love how she sings the hook. The beat is on FIRE. However : "You need a real woman in your life / Taking care of home and still fly", her mentality seems kinda gender role-oriented.

I didn't want to base my review on clips but I already had my little opinion on each song. Contrary to what I thought, the clips really reflected the songs, cause the full versions didn't changed my opinions. "Deja Vu" was an average track, "Ring The Alarm" is a HOT production but I was turned off by the stupidity of her lyrics, I know she explained what she meant but the lyrics make her come off as materialistic. She should have worded her thoughts better. "Check On It" will be on the album and it's totally useless. The best songs are "Upgrade U", "Ring The Alarm" and "Irreplaceable". I've heard a clip or "Resentment" (thanks to TOYA!), a cover of Victoria Beckham's song, and her vocals are amazing. Four good songs in total for the moment, the other tracks are average at best. Beyonce has a great voice, and I don't think she showcases her skills enough. Many of her lyrics perpetrate either the chickenhead mentality or some stupid gender roles (see Upgrade U lyrics). We've been knowing her for almost 10 years and besides 2 or 3 songs in her career (like "Dangerously In Love") I haven't seen much maturity in what she sings. While it doesn't count these days, that's what she lacks to be finally perceived as a serious artist. I would love to hear "Green Light" and "Suga Mama", but thus far it seems "B'Day" is not touching her first solo album, which I thought was just alright (the only good songs were the singles and "Dangerously In Love").

Yes yes, I know, I'll be called a "hater". Whatever.

Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion II & 4 other albums!


Amazon Review: Had Use Your Illusion II been combined with Use Your Illusion I, keeping only the best material while dropping the filler, it would have been one of the best rock albums ever recorded. Instead, great songs like "Civil War," "14 Years," "Estranged," and "So Fine" compete with the inexcusable "Get in the Ring" and the well-intentioned but off-target cover of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." There's no point to the second version of "Don't Cry," either. On the other hand, when Guns N' Roses were good, they were very, very good, and some of the material on this album is unsurpassable. Rob Dougan - Furious Angels


Amazon Review: Best known for the classic "Clubbed to Death," two versions of which feature here, London-based Australian Rob Dougan’s debut LP mines a similar groove without ever re-hitting such anthemic heights. Still, while the lack of further masterpieces is a predictable disappointment, Furious Angels remains a diverting listen, showcasing Dougan’s unique take on what we often wrongly call dance music. More in the mode of compatriot Baz Luhrmann than close associates Faithless, Dougan’s LP pitches itself firmly toward the movie theater rather than the dance floor. Hence expensive-sounding strings abound on most of the 14 hugely intense, densely produced cuts here, Hitchcock-style. Surprisingly, the majority also feature Dougan’s own, very distinctive, vocals — a sort of pained, Bob Dylan-like, bluesy rasp. Not the most pleasant noise in the world, it‘s either supreme confidence or slight egomania that lets it dominate so heavily. The also-available instrumental version is thus a less interesting, but much easier listen. Choose your weapon. Link

Miami Vice - OST


Amazon Review: Like the film itself, the soundtrack to Miami Vice is no 1980s retro-ride. Sure, it opens with "In the Air Tonight," but it's a cover by nü metal band Nonpoint taken from their 2004 album Recoil. Director Michael Mann's slick revisionist aesthetics are confirmed on two types of tracks. First, there are the dancefloor-friendly ones like "One of These Mornings" (a collaboration between Moby and Patti Labelle) and a house remix of Nina Simone’s "Sinnerman" by Felix da Housecat. Then there are the more atmospheric offerings, such as a couple instrumentals by Scottish band Mogwai and the last four tracks, that suggest the kind of steel-blue ambiance Mann is so good at creating (especially John Murphy's "Mercado Nueva" and Klaus Badelt & Mark Batson's "A-500"). Odder is the lack of local flavor: there's only a pair of Latin-flavored tracks, Arranca and Emilio Estefan, for instance. Not to mention that if ever there was a soundtrack that should have included at least one Miami bass song, it's this one. As for those who still associate Miami Vice with pastel colors and the 1980s, they're better off checking out the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City--a video game that's actually more faithful to the spirit of the TV series than the movie that bears its name. Academy Award winning actress Jodie Foster's first French single has finally appeared in downloadable format.

She made her debut (and only official) musical recordings in France in 1977: two 7" singles, "Je T'attends Depuis la Nuit des Temps" b/w "La Vie C'est Chouette" and "When I Looked at Your Face" b/w "La Vie C'est Chouette". The A-side of the former is sung in French, the A-side of the latter in English. The B-side of both is mostly spoken word and is performed in both French and English These three recordings were included on the soundtrack to Foster's 1977 French film Moi, fleur bleue.

Therion


Therion is a Swedish symphonic metal band. It takes its name from the Greek word therion (θηρίον), which means beast, in reference to the "beast" of the Christian Book of Revelation. However, the band's name itself originates from the Celtic Frost album To Mega Therion. Therion was founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. Beginning as a death metal band, they later turned to combining orchestral elements with their metal music, employing heavy use of choirs and classical musicians, not only as additions to but also as integral parts of the composition.

Therion's music takes its themes from different mythologies and is based on concepts ranging from occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings. The majority of their lyrics are written by Thomas Karlsson, head and founder of the magical order Dragon Rouge, of which Johnsson is a member. The band has seen many changes in line-up and style throughout its history.

Cryptopsy - None So Vile



Classic brutal death metal. You probably already have it, and if you don't, why the fuck not? Another mid 90's innovative Death Metal album. Almost bordering on Grindcore at times, you'll either love Lord Worms vocals or hate them. One thing you cannot deny is the brutality of this record. Check it out.

Graves of the fathers and Phobophile are my standout tracks. Honourable mention to the opener, Crown of Horns.

Necrophagist - Epitaph (2004)




Technical music at its most intricate. I'll leave it up to you to decide whether the songwriting and mediocre vocals are on par, but this is one of my personal favorites. Probably the finest example of neo-classical guitar-work in metal. Orgasmic stuff.

Also search for "Onset of Putrefication" on this blog for an earlier (and arguably better) example of Muhammed Suicmez's unbelievable skill.

My favorites on this album are "Stabwound", "Epitaph", "Only Ash Remains" (check out the mental bass solo at the beginning and some Prokofiev at the end) and "Symbiotic in Theory".
