The Faceless - Akeldama (2006)
The Faceless is a new (formed in 2005!) band from the USA. It isn't easy to categorize their music, but I'd say it's Technical Melodic Deathgrind. This stuff isn't simple in any way... sometimes weird time signatures, melodies, grooves, brutal shredding, and crushing fast drums are the characteristics of the album. You can also distinguish the band's high technical skill. The album is diverse, enjoyable and very unique. If you haven't heard these guys before, be sure to do so now, 'cause this album is a f**kin' masterpiece!
