Sonic youth - daydream nation (1988)
This is an incredibly raw and distorted album, sort of like Velvet Underground and the Stooges combined. The most impressive thing about this album is, despite its massive length of seventy minutes, it all works incredibly well, and is never, ever boring. Stunning masterpiece!
This can be quite addicted!
The tattoo is done, 6 hours of sketching and needle torture but it is very well worth it. The coming months things will be done over again and coloured and perfected. More pain to come, great!
